"For love is the creator of our favorite memories and the foundation of our fondest dreams.
Without love, we merely exist. With love, we truly begin to live! "
Hi, I'm Krysta!
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a bit better. I've been professionally capturing weddings at stunning locations from Niagara to the GTA and around the world for over a decade. Working with my clients gives me the most positive and wonderful experiences and creating long lasting friendships with everyone that I've worked with. Many have become life long clients, documenting their families growth through engagements, weddings, maternity, newborn and annual family portraits!
After 9 years together, my husband and I tied the knot in 2015, and is truly my best friend and partner. His support and encouragement throughout my career has greatly encouraged me to continue to grow not only personally but professionally as well. We are the proud parents of two adorable fur babies River and Layla and yes they have their own Instagram @RiverandLayla.... so I encourage my clients to incorporate their fur babies into their shoots which they absolutely love!
We love to travel, many of them have been to gorgeous destinations with my clients to ensure that they get stunning photos and full coverage of their destination wedding experience. No matter where your wedding is, I'll always go above and beyond to make certain your wedding day is an enjoyable and relaxing experience, where we’ll create a large collection of stunning and timeless images for you and your future generations to enjoy.
I've always been a creative person with interests in music, acting and painting. Around the age of 18, I felt a strong connection to photography due in part to my maternal Grandmother, Jeanette Kerr, a highly regarded photographer from Vancouver. She's the one who truly opened my eyes to the beauty and creativity that comes with being a great photographer. During one visit with her, we did a fashion shoot and spent some quality time in her dark room, developing and manipulating photos she took. This time is forever engrained into my memory as it was the catalyst to my career in photography.
The beginning of my career was working with musicians and models on styled shoots, honing in on my craft, Things changed once I booked my first wedding and it was then when I just fell in love with Wedding Photography. My business continues to grow and develop over the past 12 years of shooting weddings professionally while upgrading my skills and equipment. As the industry changes, my passion increases. I'm fortunate enough to really love what I do and am so grateful to have been able to make a career out of sharing my passion with people, creating mini time capsules of their cherished moments and making memories.
I'd hope to capture your memories too!
